white cell associates

White Cell Associates is a group of hand-picked humanitarian experts who are available to support military planning, training and war-gaming exercises.

Our Associates have extensive field experience as humanitarian workers or donor agency personnel, including experience with the United Nations, the most respected international humanitarian agencies (Oxfam, CARE, Save the Children, Medecins sans Frontieres and others), the International Committee of the Red Cross, and various governmental donor organisations.

Associates work as advisors to military training courses and war gaming exercises. Many are experienced lecturers and facilitators with experience of working alongside military operations in the field.

How we can help you

Associates are a resource for those running military training courses and exercises. Associates are able to feed a humanitarian and civilian perspective into training exercises, thereby increasing their sophistication and reality. Following lessons learned in Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere, there is a growing realisation that "winning the peace" - winning the hearts and minds of the civilian population and nation-building - is often just as challenging as winning the initial war. White Cell Associates can help military planners think through many of these issues.

What happens now?

If you are one of the military planners or wargame organisers who are interested in our services, please contact us by emailing us. We will be happy to discuss your requirements and how we are able to help you. We can then put together a team of Associates that fits your requirements.

testimonial

"I would like to thank you for your outstanding work during the April event in Sweden.
I was especially impressed with how you took onboard the daily direction and guidance, and "self-initiated" an aggessive work plan that kept Control well-ahead of the Experiment Audience and which gave them effective stimulation. Your ability to go into role and become a true "character actor," coupled with your real-world experience definitely presented a realistic environment.
I also appreciated your leadership skills and your willingness to help the less-experienced Role Players during the event. The sum of your efforts helped to build the strongest Control team with whom I've had the priviledge
to work.

Thanks so much, and I wish you the best for the future...which hopefully includes a chance for us to work together again."
